Program Design

Schools out for the day! What better way for your child to spend 2 hours after school than wandering the hills, exploring the forest, and playing with friends in the fresh air. This After School Discovery Program follows the 2022-23 Alexander Park Elementary School (APES) calendar year and is offered on school days (Mon-Thurs) from September to June. Budding Minds Adventure Leads will pick your child up from Ecole la Confluence or APES Elementary School at the end of the school day, greeting them with waves and smiling faces, then venture up to Keith King Memorial Park to greet families at 5pm pick up time. Where we go and what we do in between is a different adventure every day! A light snack will be provided for those hungry students after a good day of learning.
